I have studied in Mahanama College, Colombo – 03 in Bio Science stream.After passing the A/L examination I started my flight training with Skyline aviation, Rathmalana, Sri Lanka and successfully gained the Privet Pilot License. To get the pilot training at its extreme I enrolled for the Professional Pilot Training program (Part 141) in Flights Inc.(Cessna Pilot Center), Denver, Colorado, USA. There I have successfully completed the Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot License while adapting to busy airport environment(home base was the second busiest General Aviation airport in USA and flew in most types of airspaces including Class B) During my training in Colorado I was Exposed to challenging weather with turbulence, ice, challenging mountainous terrain, High altitude airfield operations(home base elevation was Extreme cold weather operations(-27° Celsius in winter). And I scored 100% marks for my Commercial Pilot License theory examination by showing my academic strengths. I earned my Multi Engine Rating in Skyler Aviation Academy, USA. There I trained in both Chino California and Bullhead city, Arizona, which exposed to high heat desert weather conditions (+45° Celsius in summer) Then I earned my Float Rating In Shebly Aviation, Arizona, USA which gave me a great training in deferent sectors of the Colorado river. Then I converted my licenses to Sri Lanka followed by completion of ATPL theory examinations. Now I am a Frozen ATPL holder who has rated in both Sri Lanka and USA (CAA and FAA) with Instrument Rating. As well as hold Single Engine Land, Single Engine Sea, Multi Engine Land ratings along with Glass Cockpit Complex, High Performance endorsements. Under my flying hours I have flown the aircraft types of, Cessna - 172(P/N/S/L), Cessna - 172 RG(cutlass), Cessna - Cessna – 150, Cessna – 152, Cessna – 182, Cessna – 310, Piper PA – 18(Float). I held the position as an area manager of Shadow Security And Investigation (PVT) LTD. Then I flew as a Pilot Officer for F-airways (PVT) LTD, While working on the positions of “Sales and promotions executive” at the same time for both Fairway Aviation Academy (PVT) LTD and F-airways (PVT) LTD by showing my multi-tasking abilities. While serving as a Pilot officer for F-airways (PVT) LTD I flew VIP transports, Whale Watching flights over Sea, Charter flights, Scenic flights and varies operations.
