About Duncan Atack

I'm a results-driven product owner who specialises in being able to bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial wants; while maintaining the customer experience as the primary focus. I have strong commercial acumen, and manage projects of all sizes with rigor and control. Having both a technical and marketing background, I’m able to communicate at the right level for the current audience and establish effective working relationships. I have over 20 years' of digital marketing experience both in Australia and abroad in London. I cut my teeth in the industry as a web developer and worked up the ranks to Digital Director, planning and overseeing digital projects. Working for digital agencies I have been involved in the full marketing lifecycle and have worked on many well known brands such as MaxFactor, Nestle Purina, Hasbro, Alfa Romeo, KFC, Gillette, Transport for London, Aussie Homeloans, ECU, and The Water Corp.In 2014 I moved out of the agency life and started client-side. Initially working for Lotterywest I helped to build their online marketing channels; managing the development of their online gaming services, and delivering the first version of their mobile app. At Peet I was bought on to manage a $1m+ project combining 30+ individual websites into a single online presence directly integrated with mapping APIs and their land data.At Perth Airport I lead the multi-million dollar project to deliver the Digital Marketplace; an ecommerce platform running on Salesforce Commerce Cloud to facilitate the sales of Perth Airport products and services. I am responsible for the full life-cycle of digital market projects, from inception through to development and launch.In my spare time I am an avid photographer, and I enjoy all things Web3 and crypto.
