About Duncan Chiriga

I am a passionate educationist, software developer and innovator, with acute skills in mobile development, and the education and training sectors. My first qualification is a a B.Sc Honors degree in the Applied Sciences. Following many years in the field, i completed a Post Graduate qualifications in the Further education and training sector with the University of South Africa, initially to up-skill myself as a bona-fide Science Communicator and Education Practitioner. My day usually includes designing of software, 3D simulations to address misconceptions in Physics and Chemistry, academic research in the development of simulations/ software and their impact in academics, lecturing, and more software development. I am generally self-motivated and career driven with an objective to always make a positive impact within and without the confines of the communities in which I live in. To contribute, share knowledge, instruct, train and impart knowledge or experiences in the field of Science and Information Technology, Mobile Development using a wide range of technologies (Angular+, PHP, MySQL, Firebase) I have had the opportunity to manage education Centres, developed Physics and Chemistry educational content for Mindset and developing mobile applications using a wide range of technologies. Over and above i have experience in ICT pedagogy having taught and developed a module with the Durban University of Technology in South Africa.
