About Duncan Edmondson
As part of the Viable Cities program management team, we’re currently supporting 48 Swedish cities accelerate their climate neutrality transformation towards 2030. Through collaboration with the NetZeroCities consortium, I co-lead the climate transition governance work in the EU Cities Mission, the implementation platform supporting the EU's 2030 vision for 100 climate-neutral and smart cities. As a Research Fellow at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, I specialise in Climate Governance and Policy. Having completed a postdoc at the Hertie School of Governance, a PhD in Science and Technology Policy (SPRU - University of Sussex), MSc in Energy Policy for Sustainability (SPRU - Sussex), and a BSc in Environmental Science (University of Leeds), my interests are interdisciplinary, thinking in systems about grand challenges and complexity.
