I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you, and talk a bit about the 17 years I’ve spent in the West Coast cannabis industry. I have nothing but the utmost gratitude for the once in a lifetime opportunities that cannabis has provided to me and my family, and I look forward to continuing this relationship moving forward into corporate roles that allow me to grow and capitalize on my innate abilities and sensibilities in the cannabis sector. I have a desire to continually exceed the expectations of those watching the cannabis industry boom under a surely pessimistic microscope, inspire everyone around me with my enthusiasm for brand recognition and legitimacy for what makes it all work, cultural-familiarity, and sheer enjoyment of the new, innovative ideas we strive to deliver every day. I have a diverse and lengthy experience in this industry, coupled with a passion to educate. I have built long-term, very beneficial relationships within the industry that could present partnerships and opportunities for the rest of my life. I think that my sense of excitement and unwavering support for the culture of cannabis can only be beneficial for the companies I work alongside. I don’t believe in a “can’t do” attitude. I applied for the position of freelance photographer at Culture Magazine without even a camera. I borrowed suitable equipment until the day I was able to purchase my own. I bought the only one I could afford and showed up. I stood shoulder to shoulder with photojournalists, who had extravagant set-ups, and years of formal education and training, but I showed up and I got the shots, learning and inspiring almost constantly. I started in the industry with nothing but jovial-optimism, and entry level knowledge formed in the dirt of a medical garden in California, but I aim to innovate, and forge a new cutting edge so that I may create a lasting mark on this industry.
