About Durell Anthony

I have nearly a decade of experience in Human Services & Special Education. My passion for and extensive experience in serving others - primarily persons with developmental disabilities and their families - has given me a fulfilling, rewarding career. Whether it's providing individualized academic instruction, crisis intervention and management, service coordination, or vocational and independent living skills, I've served children and adults of various backgrounds. I've been a contributor and leader on teams whose sole focus was helping others reach their goals. I am known for being compassionate, conscientious and hard working. In addition, I'm also an independent singer, songwriter & musician. Originally from Atchison, Kansas, I gained national attention in 2021 as a contestant on season 20 of NBC's The Voice, where I worked alongside one of my musical heroes, John Legend. In my career, I've collaborated with several well-known artists, worked on TV projects for Disney, Fox, NBC & Peacock, and performed private events for Bank of America, BMW, Chic-Fil-A, Coca-Cola, Marcus Allen Foundation, Secretary of State Shirley Weber & many more.
