About Durga Karki

I am a law graduate trying to pacify my passion for politics by working on governance. I am a storyteller too, who barely gets time to write but when I had time, I published a book! I always thought I was a radio person but guess what, I worked as a TV Presenter for a Kids News Programme! It did two things to me - helped me see beauty from a different perspective and always made me feel younger! You could thus say, I have a part-time journalist eye inside of me. It gets into action the most when I am travelling. Thanks to COVID-19, it's in hibernation for quite some time now. I write Op-eds in online portals and national dailies - mostly when I am raged or nostalgic. If you're wondering what that's like, check out my writings at Setopati.com. Local governance, federalism, constitution, political participation and representation, inclusion, sexual and reproductive health rights, administrative law, money and politics, etc. are some of my interest areas. But I'll leave all these and go trekking with you or watch great movies with you if you bring momos;)
