About Dusan Blagojevic

As a principal researcher at Jaroslav Černi Water Institute, I design dams, retaining walls, slope stability, and riverbank regulation projects, applying my knowledge and skills in concrete and geotechnical engineering. I also create contracts based on the FIDIC forms of the contract, and participate in direct negotiation processes with clients and contractors. I have passed the professional exam for civil engineers and have multiple certifications in structural modeling and project management software. Prior to joining Jaroslav Černi, I gained valuable experience in bridge construction and claim preparation at STRABAG and GP Mostogradnja, where I was responsible for establishing and monitoring the program of works, coordinating the workforce on site, and executing the works. I hold a master's degree in structural engineering from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Civil Engineering, where I studied structural analysis, design, and optimization. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of good technical practice and learning new skills, such as JavaScript. I was also a professional handball player and a member of the national team of Serbia.
