About Dusan Vucic

As the head of department for renewable energy sources and high efficiency cogeneration at COTEE, the Montenegrin electricity market operator, I manage and oversee the integration of renewable energy sources into the national power system, ensuring compliance with the EU regulations and standards. I also collaborate with various stakeholders, such as transmission system operators, distribution system operators, generators, and regulators, to facilitate the development and implementation of renewable energy projects and policies. With a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Montenegro, I have a strong background and expertise in electrical power systems, especially in the fields of transmission, distribution, and protection. I have published multiple papers in international conferences and journals, demonstrating my research and analytical skills, as well as my passion for innovation and sustainability. I am proficient in various software tools, such as AutoCAD, Matlab, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Word, which I use to design, model, analyze, and present complex power system data and solutions. I am also fluent in English, Spanish, and Chinese, which enables me to communicate and work effectively with diverse and global teams and clients.
