About Dussu Djabula

I am a qualified lawyer (PT) currently working as a Junior Legal Counsel at ArcelorMittal Luxembourg, within the Legal Sustainability, ESG, and Environment team. In this role, I contribute to the company’s sustainability strategy by providing legal support on ESG-related developments and compliance. Prior to joining ArcelorMittal, I worked at PLMJ in the Banking, Finance, and Capital Markets department, where I focused on funds and financing projects with a strong ESG component. I advised clients on navigating regulatory requirements and developments pertaining to the SFDR, Taxonomy Regulation, CSRD, and CS3D. Earlier in my career, I was part of the Litigation department at PLMJ, working on complex civil and commercial litigation cases, including multijurisdictional disputes. Before entering private practice, I gained research experience at the NOVA Center on Business, Human Rights and the Environment, contributing to projects at the intersection of corporate responsibility, human rights, and environmental sustainability. I hold an Advanced LL.M. in International and European Business Law from KU Leuven (Cum Laude), as well as a Bachelor of Laws from NOVA School of Law. With a strong foundation in sustainability and business law, I aim to help shape legal approaches to responsible business conduct in a changing regulatory landscape.
