My university experience provided me with a solid foundation in business principles, strategic thinking, and leadership. After university, I began a career in the downhole drilling industry. Over the course of a decade, I immersed myself in the field, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. From the very beginning, I embraced the grit and precision required in drilling operations. My dedication and adaptability allowed me to swiftly progress through the ranks. Years into my downhole drilling career, I was presented with an opportunity to use my applicable skill-set in tunneling. I was able to achieve a significant milestone by ascending to the position of Supervisor in a few short years. This progression was a testament to my commitment, problem-solving skills, and ability to lead teams in complex environments. I take pride in my role as a leader, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence in every project. My diverse experiences have created a unique blend of qualities and skills. From the discipline instilled by hockey to the strategic thinking cultivated in business school, and the technical expertise gained in drilling, all culminating in my leadership role in tunneling, I thrive at the intersection of these worlds.
