About Dustin Holmes

MBA graduate from Gary W. Rollins College of Business specializing in Business Analytics. During my studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's college of business, I worked my way into multiple leadership roles for student organizations and class projects. A few examples would be when I stepped into the role of President for the Entrepreneurship Club under the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization; co-founded a new graduate-level investment fund as Vice President of Fundamental Analysis; and was elected CEO for my team's start-up in my graduate business strategy simulation. All of these have given me opportunities to develop and showcase strategic planning, leadership, and quantitative/analytical skills. Along the way, I have managed to receive and participate in an invitational to compete globally for achieving 1st place in a business strategy simulation (placing top three) and even helped manage a $1M investment portfolio completely managed by students at the University. When I started my MBA, I was brought in as a graduate consultant for the fund to mentor and provide feedback and recommendations on presentations, fundamental analysis, and financial modeling, marketing, among others. In addition, I worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which led to me helping to write and finalize a book on entrepreneurial skill-building with the use of my research, writing, organization, and time management skills. Following that work, I was offered and accepted to (voluntarily) co-author an article alongside industry experts for a piece on entrepreneurial ecosystems that will be published by Oxford University Press. I am experienced with Excel, PowerPoint and other Office software and have basic proficiency in analytics software such as Tableau, PowerBI, MySQL, SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Enterprise Miner Workstation.
