About Dustin Jackson

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, earned in May 2017. Since then, I’ve developed deep expertise in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) integrations, with a focus on secure infrastructure, system configuration, protocol troubleshooting, and connectivity across enterprise environments.In my current position, I design, develop, administer, and support enterprise integrations across a diverse institutional environment that includes PeopleSoft CRM, Salesforce Educloud, Perceptive Content ECM, MSSQL and Oracle databases, and a variety of other systems used across campus. My background also includes hands-on experience in C/C++, JavaScript, and electronic form development using HTML5, CSS3, XML, and XSL. I also have working knowledge of Assembly, Java, SQR, Verilog, VHDL, and scripting with Windows CMD and Bash. I’ve supported embedded systems projects involving FPGAs, CPLDs, and ARM-based microcontrollers, including real-time applications using FreeRTOS.I'm passionate about solving integration challenges, improving workflows, and increasing the performance and reliability of ECM platforms. I thrive in collaborative environments where technical precision and systems thinking are valued.Outside of work, I enjoy embedded systems development. I’ve built several personal projects using C++ on Raspberry Pi and developed a home power circuit monitor with an STM32F7 Discovery board. This involved configuring ADCs, Hall-effect sensors, ISRs, mutexes, DMA channels, message queues, and a preemptive RTOS scheduler to capture and display real-time data efficiently.To enhance productivity, I actively leverage large language models (LLMs) for tasks such as code generation, script debugging, documentation assistance, and exploring unfamiliar APIs or frameworks.
