About Dwayne Christensen

I’m a Senior Control Systems Engineer with experience in Industrial Automation, mostly within the field of Mining and Production. Majority of my work has been on the Roy Hill Iron Ore project, commissioning both the controls and SCADA systems used at the Port. Currently I am employed as a Control Systems Engineer for Electro80, a company that specializes in a variety of control system engineering solutions. In this role I have assisted in several projects, upgrading client SCADA systems and acceptance testing of system upgrades. My most notable work has been on the Roy Hill Project commissioning and integration of the controls and SCADA system, and assisting with both Train Unloading and Ship Loading operations with the Controllers. Outside of work, majority of my time is spent on design and testing a variety of electronics and robotics projects. As these interests relate involve control systems, they have proven beneficial to my line of work. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Edith Cowan University. Outside of University, I have also acquired several certificates as part of a Robotics Specialization through Coursera, the Massive Open Online Course site.
