I have enjoyed practicing law in Indiana in my own law practice since 1997. I have had cases in 65 different counties throughout the state of Indiana. I am licensed to practice in both state + federal courts and I am licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Primary Areas of Practice: Family law cases (divorces, custody, visitation, support, property issues) take up the majority of my caseload. I stay up to date with the latest books and articles in this area and I really enjoy helping families navigate their legal situations and problems. I am a certified domestic mediator. Estate planning work (wills, trusts, advanced directives)- doing your estate plan before you die makes it so much better + easier for your loved ones. Schedule to attend my 1 hour seminar in my office where you will learn about dying without a will, dying with a will, dying with a revocable trust and advanced directives on a 60" TV. Criminal (DUIs, misdemeanors, felonies, juvenile)- I love to prepare these cases for trial and, each year, I have obtained very successful results in aggressively helping people get their lives back on track. Every year, I try to participate in at least 2 CLE seminars thru the Indiana Public Defender Council. Personal Injury (motor vehicle accidents, med-mal)- I usually form a team of experts around us and like to quarterback these cases to the best recovery we can get for the client. I have handled cases that resulted in settlements for over one million dollars. Small Business (business formation, contracts, non-competes, LL/T issues) My primary office is 718 S. Washington Street in Marion, Indiana where I have an office with a private conference facility (3 blocks from the Grant County Courthouse.)
