STORYTELLING: At my core, I am a skilled storyteller. Whether it’s writing a news story or a communications plan, the best outcomes are driven by a compelling story, that drives a person to act or to persuade. Throughout my career, I have excelled at writing and producing content that focuses on telling stories that engages people, by identifying angles or nuggets that connect with an audience. As a result, I have contributed to the success of several news programs and communications initiatives. EDITORIAL JUDGMENT: One of my passions as a news producer is discovering ways to enhance a segment. I believe that is done by identifying new developments and angles in a story, and determining how to present it to the viewer, in a creative and digestible manner. MENTOR: Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky to have several mentors who have given me great advice and have played key roles in my career development. I have strived to do the same with junior producers and other team members, in helping them progress in their careers.
