About Dwayne Orth

While attending High School I started a job at Shepherd Transportation L.L.C. in Stanwood, IA. Working there provided me the opportunity to learn many valuable things. Maintaining and repairing Equipment, Diagnosing and Resolving malfunctions, Preventative and Scheduled maintenance, Performing Safety Inspections on Commercial Equipment, Maintaining Stock, and New Installations. Even though I enjoyed the job, my passions lay elsewhere. An Automation career looked very promising and something I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. I started an Internship at Red Star Yeast in Cedar Rapids,IA that has given me insight into the workings of an Industrial Plant. I love learning new things everyday in class/work, and enjoy helping others to learn.
