About Dwayne Perkins

During my career I was part of the team that set up the first ever combined petrol/diesel line for Jaguar Land Rover. Improved and project managed JLR quality and production processes within their new Petrol and Diesel Engine Facility. At Amazon I successfully commissioned, integrated, and tested several new fulfilment centres in the UK & Europe. At Coca Cola I helped identify a failure in their product tracking and resolved this issue. At Gatwick international Airport, I led a team who rescued a struggling EDS and baggage lines upgrade program, successfully delivering ahead of schedule and in accordance with EU Regulation 1087/2011 for final switch off of obsolete level 2 explosive detection systems. I have a unique ability to get the best out of the teams I manage, or I am part of. I can quickly assess strengths and weaknesses to maximise performance and individual potential. I actively encourage and promote the need to work collaboratively and efficiently whilst remaining focussed even during the toughest projects. I enjoy leading from the front, rolling my sleeves up and getting the job done. I am familiar with working in highly regulated industries, I am security and DBS checked and familiar with the security protocols associated with these industries. I have a raft of experience supporting site activities including CDM setup, equipment FAT & SAT testing, health & safety, permit to work, risk and method statement preparation and review. Always looking to improve and expand my knowledge of engineering.
