Responsible for day to day results of DakAmericas Rail Yard production • Coordinate all outbound train freight to exit the plant to customers • Coordinate and generate pull list for train crew to build outbound trains • Work closely with all contractors entering plant site for maintenance • Generate all permits for contractors entering plant site • Development/train all new personal staff by providing leadership, skills-development and resulting in minimal staff turnover. • Tracking and reporting of freight cars on site • Supervise and serve as the main point of contact for all event vendors • Process all billing for outbound customers. Locomotive Driver & Conductor • Coordination of all inbound/outbound railcars • Coordination of railcars entry & exit of plant site via train • Operate locomotive under direction of conductor • Responsible placing railcars in specific areas: Hopper, Coal, Tank cars • Develop timelines and detailed list of day to day duties • Safely operate/ inspect all rail switches before operation • Maintain proper rail movement, coupling of cars, setting hand brakes and the attachment of air hoses
