About Dwindy Gerbier
Hi, my name is Dwindy Gerbier, and I am excited to connect with you! Born and raised in southwest Florida, I am first-generation Haitian-American, and also a first-generation college graduate. All of these experiences help inform who I am and my worldview. I attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where I graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience. While in undergrad I was able to expose myself to a variety of opportunities ranging from, research, to study-abroad, to various leadership opportunities. After college I began a position as a Laboratory Technician in a neuroscience lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA where our research focused on Parkinson's disease. The lab transitioned to the University of Florida where I followed and soon became a Gator. I am currently a 3rd year PharmD candidate at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. While being a student, I also maintain my position as a technician in the neurology lab where my main duties comprise of cell culture work.
