I am an experienced educator with a Bachelor of Teaching (Humanities)(Honours) from the University of Newcastle and a Masters in Education (Teacher Librarianship) from Charles Sturt University. Currently serving as a Senior English Teacher, I bring four years of specialised experience in pastoral care leadership, having previously served as Head of Year where I managed the wellbeing of 300 students. My expertise spans across English, Society and Culture, Ancient History, and Teacher Librarianship, with particular strengths in digital wellbeing initiatives and student support systems. I am passionate about integrating emerging technologies, including AI, into educational practice. With comprehensive training in Mental Health First Aid, Child Protection, and crisis management, I am committed to fostering both academic excellence and student wellbeing while preparing future community leaders through innovative teaching practices and strong pastoral care programs.
