About Dylan Broadbridge

With 5+ years experience in building Full Stack web applications across a wide range of domains I am able to work independently or in a team to successfully scale products from MVP to successful enterprise. During university I pursued extra-circular learning in web development which helped me land my first job at Evari Insure. There I was the first employee and helped develop initial products with a small team of remote and local developers, successfully delivering value to customers multiple times. During my time at Evari I saw it grow to over 20 employees, while having a strong increase in customers. While at Evari I started a business called HiStore with my co-worker Ancil Thomas that aimed to enable smaller grocery stores to match the experience of click and collect that is available at major chains. While ultimately unsuccessful I learned a lot about business, particularly about finding your market and evaluating value that I would not have gained had I not tried to start my own business. After a couple years at Evari I was reflecting on my experience and decided that I wanted to try and learn more about business and give myself a new challenge. In April of 2019 I worked with James Nelson, a thought leader on React on a greenfield e-learning project for a Japanese client. While working with James I learnt more about my domain, managing clients and working remotely. After completion of the project I started contracting to Exponent, giving me exposure to early stage businesses along with flexible hours to try and start my own. I have worked on projects for a range of emerging and existing businesses while at Exponent, giving me the expertise to massively contribute to an early, or scale up stage company.
