About Dylan Council
I am a junior double-majoring in Statistics and Data Science and Ethics, Politics, and Economics at Yale. I have a strong passion for law and justice, especially as it relates to education policy and criminal justice. I have previous experience in politics as an elections intern for multiple congressional campaigns, state and national. Additionally, I have extensive policy research experience from my time as a Senior Legislative Fellow and Education Policy Researcher. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to volunteer with Matriculate, an organization focused on leveling the playing field in college applications by providing free advising services to high-achieving, low-income students. Recently, I have begun explorations into the world of data science, with specific focuses on its application to policy and sports analytics. I have experience in data analysis and visualization using software like R and Minitab, and am proficient in Java, Python, and C/C++.
