About Dylan Dawson
I have been the Head Athletic Trainer in Weatherford ISD since 2021 and was the Co-Head Athletic Trainer before that beginning in 2018. I have experience in the classroom teaching Sports Medicine, Kinesiology 1, as well as Principles of Exercise Science and Wellness in Texas public schools. Since arriving at Weatherford, we have grown and retained students in our athletic training program sending multiple students every year into areas of study in the medical field. We have extended athletic training coverage to include more sports at both of our middle schools. We've created an in-house recovery room for our student athletes to come and go as they see fit and to meet personal recovery needs. In the fall of 2024, we joined the Career and Technical Education department in Weatherford ISD offering graduation pathways for athletic training students.
