About Dylan Foti

I am a passionate Support Specialist with a unique engineering background that allows me to provide friendly and exceptional solutions and support to technical clients. Having over two and a half years of Support experience, and over five years of engineering experience with New York State, I pride myself on being able to handle technical complexities and customer needs, to empower every client to feel valued and comfortable in the support given. My career started in 2016 as an engineer, working for New York State Dept. of Public Service as a Gas Pipeline Safety Engineer, until Sept. My duties monitoring, working and investigating natural gas and steam utility systems across eastern New York gave me the unique opportunity to hone both my analytical skills and problem solving abilities, as well as learn to empower and support worker performing high risk operations. This experience ignited my passion for understanding technology from the ground up and inspired my transition to a role focused on supporting and empowering users. Since moving and getting settled in Denver CO in 2022, I have worked as a Support Specialist for InPlace Software, a SaaS student placement company. This position allows me to work closely with our clients to ensure they are getting the most out of our products, and ensure that any challenges faced are dealt with promptly and properly. I strive to provide efficient and effective communications and trainings to our clients, to empower our users to have the best experience with our products. My passion and interest is tech; my hobbies included cross country running (half marathons) and strength training, console gaming & gameplay capturing, manga & anime, acoustic guitar & comedy.
