Communication and Media is just one area I excel in. As a friendly and motivated individual, I pride myself on my ability to enhance the working environment by learning the lay of the land quickly and performing duties efficiently, whether it is as part of a team or individually. As I gain more work experience, I want to build a career that allows me to continue expanding my knowledge, share my skills, and contribute to the success of a group related to my areas of study and interest. Working at Carleton Learning Spaces has involved interfacing with various professors to aid them in facilitating their courses to the best of their abilities given the available technology in the classroom as well as external items as necessary. This has also helped me to develop strong problem solving techniques, as this work often includes last minute issues that need be solved or worked around in order to to ensure that classes can still run in the event of technology problems. Overall this has given me a strong understanding of not just the various classrooms across campus, as well as instructors’ teaching needs.
