About Dylan Gerber

My name is Dylan Gerber and I am from the greater Chicago area. I am currently a junior at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University majoring in Business Analytics and Marketing. I’ve always loved working with databases, specifically Microsoft Excel, and I’m interested in combining that passion with consumer behaviors and trends. Recently, peer tutored for BUS-K 303 and assisted in teaching students complex MS Excel tools such as data analysis, solver, simulations, and power tools. Basketball has played a large role in the person I am today. I’ve always been a diligent person with a strong work ethic, but was not fully aware of this until high school basketball. Everyone who has played with me knows that no one on the court will out-work or hustle me in a practice or game. This attitude was recognized on athlete recognition night of my senior year when I was awarded the Student Athlete Diligence and Hard Work Award across all sports by the athletic director and my coaches, and was voted Most Improved Player by my teammates. I believe it is important that I carry this attitude from basketball to every aspect of my life, and I strive to do so everyday.
