About Dylan Gulledge

I am a graduate electrical engineer seeking new job opportunities. I have professional experience in semiconductor quality hardware design, along with statistical analysis of yield data from working at Cirrus Logic Semiconductor. I also have experience in audio engineering and audio technology from my associate's degree in audio technology. At this time, I was also working a sales position at Guitar Center, where I worked in all departments. This required me to know all of the gear we sold along with the ability to be a friendly and helpful guide to customers. I graduated with my electrical engineering degree magna cum laude and with a minor in mathematics. I chose this degree after attaining my Audio Technology degree and wanting to better understand the gear we worked with in the studio. My grades were considered excellent, and so I was permitted to take graduate level coursework in my senior year. I chose analog IC design, digital signal processing (DSP), and digital communications. This coursework was rigorous, but gave me a firm grasp on more advanced topics. I was particularly drawn to DSP, where we primarily studied Fourier analysis and filter design using MATLAB. I participated in a Summer research position with the Physics Department at UNT during my senior. In this position I worked in the field of acoustics, specifically working with acoustic metamaterials and performing a sound transmission loss comparative analysis with other sound insulating materials. This experience was crucial to helping me understand how to perform research with like-minded peers and present my work in a professional manner. I hope my profile gives ample evidence of my love of engineering and passion to pursue different endeavors in the field of electrical engineering.
