About Dylan H.

I am an engineering and policy professional with a deep understanding of the intersection between energy systems, climate change, and equity. I am also passionately committed to environmental stewardship and connection with the natural world, and am endlessly grateful to call the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples home. I hold a Master of Engineering in Clean Energy from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.I work to advance policies and projects that help drive rural, remote, and Indigenous communities' transition to a clean energy economy, centering issues of justice, equity and Reconciliation. I do this through analysis, research, convening and advocacy on issues including energy efficiency, renewable energy and targeted policy for equity-deserving groups. The rest of my time is spent living, playing and exploring around B.C.'s beautiful coast and mountains.
