About Dylan Hillhouse

Over the course of my career, I have gained experience at nearly every facet of work within the Publishing industry. I've been involved in the ideation and production of products, responsible for producing the financial plans/expectations, creating and executing marketing plans, and ultimately the purchase and sales of those similar products through a retail chain setting. I have been self-sufficient in my responsibilities, and have served as a manager of small and medium sized teams (in multiple locations). I have been responsible for departments that produce sales of tens of millions of dollars a year, and have had multimillion dollar budgets. My strongest skills include team leadership, communication at all levels (leader, peer, customer, customer service, etc), learning organizational systems and processes and understanding how to find ways to improve those in a short amount of time. I don't claim to be an expert in all functional areas of the business, but my experience has allowed me to be understanding of the work and the challenges that are faced in each area, and has equipped me to communicate effectively as a bit of a bridge from one area to another. It is this experience that has served me well in my current analytical and advisory role in Publishing. I see myself as very well rounded. Balanced and focused on improving myself in all areas including my work and personal life. It is extremely important to me to do things the right way for the right reasons. I live and lead from this philosophy.
