About Dylan Hofer

Hi, I'm Dylan! My career started when I was a teenager. I worked on campaigns for various Native American tribes in Oklahoma, where I called and texted voters to collect data for individual candidates. My interest in politics got me far in high school as well, and I was nominated out of 120+ students to attend the Lugar Symposium for Future Leaders, where I learned about congressional districts and elections in more detail. After volunteering for multiple organizations and candidates, I eventually came in contact with a group that started its blog, UninvitedSF. I asked to contribute, and since then I became the highest-viewed author on the page. I expanded my writing skills to Medium, where I published a piece in a publication called An Injustice! Currently, I work for Static Media, a company that owns multiple YouTube channels and online publications that cover a variety of topics from Marvel videos to politics, and weird foods. From May 2022 to February 2023 I wrote for their page "Grunge," which focused on weird historical facts, politics, scientific mysteries, religion, sports trivia, and music stars. Since then, I've transitioned to their other page, SlashGear which mainly explores new technological advancements, business, and scientific developments.
