About Dylan Howard

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of different roles and organizations. During my time spent working in management roles, I have always focused on giving a positive impact to my team. I actively look to continuously improve my skillset by completing various company-run training courses, by following guidelines from the mentors that I have had, as well as by taking initiative to complete my post-secondary education outside of my work hours. I have always considered the satisfaction of my clients and my team as the most important aspects when choosing my approach to effective teamwork and leadership. That being said, outside of basic management duties including running storefronts and resolving various important issues, I also enjoy spending as much time as I can training and supporting my team. By training each employee to their highest extent, I can place more trust and responsibility in each of them, creating a more equal and respectful working environment. In turn, as a manager, this has always allowed me to focus more on higher-level duties, while letting my team focus more on their sales and achieving customer satisfaction. During my recent positions as Technical Validator and Recruitment Assistant, I have been able to incorporate my leadership and time management skills from my previous roles to help collaborate with team members and keep each task organized and prioritized appropriately. I believe that my time management skills continue to play a significant role in my current position, as it allows me to accomplish my own deadlines, as well as help my team members keep up on their workloads. As such, I look forward to opportunities that will challenge me, while allowing me to continue improving my knowledge, skills, and abilities. I also am optimistic about connecting with more people in the industry, and would be eager to connect over shared professional interests.
