About Dylan Jenkins

One of my most important employment experiences was about 9 months of working at an urgent care, all during the COVID 19 pandemic. I was constantly given new tasks to perform as I covered positions around the clinic that were struggling, including the entry of COVID test data and informing patients of their test results, in-person patient check in and wait room management, and assisting patients through the phones in our call center. This work environment forced me to apply the skills of leadership and adaptability that I had learned during my time as an Eagle Scout; yet, it also pushed me to hone my crisis management skills, which I had to use when we were short staffed and patient quantities ran high. In order to perform well in this setting, I had to be comfortable working under pressure and against the clock, all while providing excellent customer service to our patients. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to serve my community and work full time in one of the only health care clinics in the area, and I'm looking forward to the new opportunities that come my way.
