I am currently enrolled in a full-time Software Development MSc program at Queen's University Belfast, where I am honing my skills and knowledge in the dynamic field of software development. My academic pursuit follows my previous accomplishment of graduating with a First-Class Honors in Physiotherapy from Ulster University.Having spent several years working within the NHS in Northern Ireland, I've garnered invaluable experience that has equipped me with a solid foundation in collaborative team-work, adept problem-solving, and the ability to take on intermediate leadership roles. This background has been instrumental in shaping my professional ethos and approach to challenges. I have always had a profound interest in technology, particularly in advancements in computing technologies. This led me to considering a career change to an industry that is challenging and rewarding, which is something that is essential when I consider what career I pursue.In the realm of software development, my MSc journey to date has allowed me to delve into the intricacies of Java programming and databases, laying down a robust understanding of the fundamentals of computing. Currently, my focus is on refining my programming skills, with a particular emphasis on Java, and simultaneously expanding my toolkit to include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, I am delving into the nuances of agile methodologies, recognising the importance of staying agile in a rapidly changing industry. Looking forward, I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. I am actively seeking a graduate role commencing from September 2024, and I am open to opportunities in both Ireland and Northern Ireland.
