Discovering seasonal work in my early 20s was a game-changer in my life and has given me the opportunity to travel all over the world. Working inside Yellowstone National Park, under Half Dome in Yosemite Valley, and snowboarding every day in Sun Valley, Idaho for 3 winters showed me that the a life of travel and exploration was possible. Between seasons I would road trip across the American West or take a few months to explore SE Asia. The lifestyle I lived and portrayed through social media caught many people's interest. I knew I had to do something. With every season coming to an end, a seasonal worker would have to plan for the upcoming season. This meant filling out tons and tons of job applications.NOT FUN! There needed to be an easier way to apply to seasonal jobs to not only make it easier for seasonal work veterans, but for people who would be interested in the lifestyle. With that idea in mind, the team and I created VagaJobs, a company devoted to seasonal work and full-time travel. I am originally from Long Island, NY and have a love for the outdoors. I currently live in a self-converted van and travel across the country waiting tables, river guiding, and working 24/7 on our startup, VagaJobs. I enjoy traveling more than anything because it is the best way to learn not only about other people and cultures, but it teaches you more about yourself.
