About Dylan Pappalardo

Growing up I wasn't sure the direction I wanted to go. After graduating I went back to Townsville Grammar to visit my accounting teacher. She introduced me into the field of business which led me to enrol in a bachelor degree, majoring in financial management and business law. I chose finance as a potential career after seeing many close friends and family suffer from the poor financial decisions they make. I have been managing existing clients and building new business as a financial planner for MyFortress Townsville for 3 years before deciding to leave the financial services industry and pursue a career in sales/business development, securing a position at Southern Cross Austereo (SCA). While working at SCA, I built a cafe Fresno Espresso & Wine Bar offering a concept to serve both day and night. We serve Code Black Coffee from Melbourne, a range of seasonal wines/cocktails in the evening and offer Long Lunch and Sip and Paint events. I also provided consult sales advice/services to Pop-Up Food Trucks (PUFT) to drive sponsorship funds to ensure these events continue to grow for the local Townsville Community. I now have taken a contractor position at Balanz, offering debt solutions to clients and I look forward to building my long-term career as a broker.
