I'm a proud Public Servant of the Crown, serving as a Customer Service Officer at Inland Revenue, where I'm extremely passionate about helping kiwis and their businesses navigate the intricacies of taxation in New Zealand. As an Officer of the Department of Inland Revenue, my mission is to ensure that taxpayers receive accurate information and expert guidance to simplify their tax-related concerns. I thrive on delivering exceptional service, facilitating compliance, and making tax regulations more accessible to our valued taxpayers. I am also a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Otago, majoring in Accounting and Finance. I have a strong academic record, with honours in Accounting and Calculus, and the University of Otago Māori Entrance Scholarship at the high credit level. I have also gained practical skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Sharepoint and Power BI, and have previously volunteered as the Deputy Treasurer at my church, helping manage financial matters and supporting its mission. I am passionate about pursuing a career in audit and investigations at Inland Revenue, particularly specializing in taxation and forensic accounting, and applying my mathematical and analytical abilities to expose tax fraud and offences.
