About Dylan Patel

I currently serve as a Program Manager for the Procedural & Therapeutics Division at MD Anderson Cancer Center. In this role, I manage and work within several diverse projects that range from business planning for future expansion initiatives to process improvement efforts for both procedure and surgical areas. Before assuming my current role. I completed an Administrative Fellowship at MD Anderson where I received a robust education in the complexity of operating the largest comprehensive cancer center in the U.S. Prior to MD Anderson, I served as a Graduate Administrative Intern for the Digestive Diseases Service Line at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Fortunately, I was given the offer to stay on and continue my internship in the same capacity reporting directly to the executive director and working on projects that involved program development, strategy and financial modeling. I also have experience as an Emergency Medical Technician. I have experienced additional internships for two government officials, and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health's EMS Agency and Emergency Preparedness and Response Division. I am pursuing a career in health administration with the intention of ensuring all patients, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to receive cutting-edge, compassionate and trustworthy healthcare.
