I am developing new nanomaterials for drug delivery and oxygen evolution using transition metals and organic linkers. Specifically, working with highly basic hydrothermal and solvothermal precipitate reactions that rely on pH for the precipitates to form. I characterize crystals and powders using Rigaku Miniflex Powder Xray Diffractometer and PerkinElmer FTIR and analyze predicted unit cells to extend structures into more efficient and porous structures.
