Dylan is an experienced risk and controls senior consultant, having honed his skills in a big four firm where he gained substantial experience in risk-based internal audits within the assurance field. His career journey continued at Deloitte, further expanding his internal audit expertise. This, in conjunction with his work on IT Audit, third-party assurance, and risk management, has solidified his position as a well-rounded professional. Dylan's work at Deloitte also extended into the consulting sector, leading him to contribute to GRC implementations, the integration of AI in Internal Audit, IPO 'Control Readiness' workshops, and the generation of proposals for potential clients. Dylan's industry experience is broad and varied, extending across a multitude of sectors. These encompass financial services, retail, timber, education, hospitality, industrial services and consumer, manufacturing and construction, fast-moving consumer goods, and agri-business. In addition, he has gained substantial expertise in the technology, media and telecommunications sector, as well as the energy, resources and industrials (ER & I) sector. This wide-ranging industry experience gives Dylan a holistic understanding of distinct challenges and opportunities in each field. Dylan is also on the verge of becoming a Certified Internal Auditor, having successfully passed two of the three board exams and is presently preparing for his final exam. His future aspirations include acquiring additional certifications in assurance and consulting.
