About Dylan Stewart

Throughout my job history dating back to when I could first work, I've always had an ability to pick up the necessary skills quite quickly. before becoming a data center tech, I was employed with a courier company, I won an employee of the quarter award, after only being with the company for several months. The award was for being one of the most efficient drivers they had. And at my current job, I was one of the fastest people hired on full time from a contractor position after only being there for a little over half a year. I am always determined to finish jobs the right way, no shortcuts, and make sure when the job is done, I am truly proud of the work I performed. Data Center Cabling turned out to be a calling of mine as I came into the field with very little experience and knowledge, and was able to move into a lead technician position within a half a year of being with a structured cabling company that worked as a contractor for data centers, leading teams of 2-8 people to complete big cabling projects in data center environments. After honing in on my cabling skills, I was able to secure a job at a Data Center where I was able to learn all other aspects of a DC environment. Including all other infrastructure, Heating and Cooling, Rack and Stack, Troubleshooting, Testing, Monitoring, Nlyte, and DCIM just to name a few.
