About Dylan Vogel

I currently serve in the United States Air Force at Luke AFB, AZ. Since joining in 2013, I have had many experiences. I was a Family Health Medical Technician from May 2014 - Jan 2017. In Jan 2017, I moved to Ambulance Operations to gain knowledge and skills providing emergency medical care, which is where I am still located. During my career I educated patients on nutrition, health, weight loss, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease prevention and management, I provided patient care including triage, phlebotomy, electrocardiogram, immunizations, and emergency medical treatment. I continue to seek leadership in and outside of my job. I have supervised 10+ personnel, created the clinic schedule, researched international health threats and conducted medical briefings, led the clinic transition from written medical records to electronic, reformatted the peer review process insuring appropriate level of medical care was met, authored a 20-page operation instruction which provided medical care standards, and managed of over 20 additional duties on top of standard job duties including: medications, medical supply, equipment, training program, and ambulance maintenance. Outside of my job I was the President of Airmen’s Club which had several responsibilities: we oversaw Airmen, providing them professional development and career opportunities. I was also secretary of Base Hospital Booster Club, whose mission it was to host events, raise funds, increase moral, and be a positive figure in the eyes of our peers. I love to continue and get out and provide community service. Since 2016 I have made it a mission to volunteer and contribute to the community more whether it is volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, community car washes to raise money to go back to the surrounding area, participating in blood drive and health fair events, or over seeing medical coverage for more than people throughout 2016, 2017, and 2018 Luke Air Force Base Air Show.
