About Dylan Walsh

I am a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, attaining a degree in Environmental Studies and Geography. Most interested in sustainability practices as well as experiencing and understanding the world and its issues. My past work experiences have all given me the chance to build myself as a person as well as develop strong people skills. Working as a server I have developed strong communication abilities dealing with customer relations as well as team building skills. I take pride in being a team oriented worker, having the skill set of bringing people together and creating a strong/connected workplace. I believe these skills can be applied to many jobs as it is important to create a team that works well both together and as individuals. My work experience has provided me with many opportunities and many skills, however, not all of my skills have come from work. I strongly believe in being part of a community and creating a strong sense of community with the ones around me. I have gained this success by volunteering in my community and giving my time to help others. Using your skills for work is a necessity. Giving back is also a necessity for both your growth and the growth of others.
