Professional public historian with several years of cumulative experience working in museum, archival, and historic preservation settings. Responsibilities have included identifying and researching historical artifacts and facilitating historic resource evaluations in accordance with state and federal preservation ordinances. I’ve also gained experience providing corporate-level administrative and project management support by engaging in stakeholder outreach, compiling summary reports and project databases, and coordinating collaborative partnerships between various internal and external stakeholders. My historical research interests include 19th century African American history, Reconstruction-era history, 20th century urban history, and historical memory within built environments.
