About Dylan Wrankmore

Based in Cape Town, I'm a Motion Designer with over 20 years of experience in design and motion graphics. After initially studying Graphic Design and working in the field for five years, I shifted my focus entirely to Motion Design in 2010—a decision I've passionately embraced ever since. For the past five years, I've been part of the creative team at Iconic, a studio I previously collaborated with extensively as a freelance specialist. My skillset is diverse, covering all aspects of motion graphics including 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, colour grading, and editing. I've contributed to a wide array of projects, from TV commercials and documentaries to short films and music videos. I approach each project with meticulous attention to technical detail, combined with strong art direction to create compelling visual narratives. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of collaborating with many of South Africa's leading creative agencies and renowned global brands, including Red Bull, Netflix, Asics, Puma, Virgin Active, Campari, Windhoek, Revlon, Woolworths, Superbalist, Primark, H&M, and Eucerin.
