About Dylan Young

I was born and raised in South East London where I also went to school, and later moved to Newcastle for university. Now living back in London as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, I am proud to say that I belong to a profession that sincerely captivates my interests to bring about ardent change to the built environment. I love my job!My pastimes include reading and travel. Having spent time travelling around Colombia and Latin America after my degree where I had plenty of time to do both, I've arrived home with fresh ideas and inspiration from the built environment of entirely different countries for a wholly different set of challenges. I believe that travel and lived experiences are crucial for the development of an architect. Creative endeavours have been my calling for as long as I remember; drawing, screen-printing, music production, and life drawing are some of the mediums I have enjoyed using to exercise my creative spirit. I also have a fervent interest in martial arts, having boxed for several years which later led to my fascination with Muay Thai where I currently competing.Having finished my temporary role at Campbell Cadey, my passions and aspirations have never been clearer - to achieve certification as a qualified architect in the UK or abroad. I am currently looking for work as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant. Please don't hesitate to get in contact if you have any full-time positions or placements that I'd be suited to.
