Background

About Dyllan Floyd

I am a recent graduate from Purdue University Fort Wayne with my Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in business studies. I’m currently working as an Assistant Project Manager with the Mechanical Group at Shambaugh & Son, where I’ve had the opportunity to help manage the mechanical scope on a large-scale data center project. This experience has given me a practical foundation in project coordination, subcontractor management, and construction sequencing within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.I’m highly motivated by long-term impact and leadership. I’ve recently gotten my STSC certification and plan on developing myself further by sitting for the CHST and PMP certifications when I’m qualified to do so. My career goal is to become a well-rounded and effective project leader in the construction engineering/project management space, with a deep technical foundation and a clear understanding of both field operations and business strategy.I’m also a competitive Ironman athlete, having recently completed the Ironman World Championships in Nice, France. I approach my career the same way I approach racing, with discipline, focus, and a constant drive to improve. I’m passionate about building things that last physically, professionally, and personally.
