About Dynella Russo

My current experience is working as a nurse practitioner at a plastic surgery center. I have experience working in all aspects of patient care, managing patients from initial consultation through postoperative period in the field of plastic surgery. I conduct comprehensive medical histories, physical examination, and consultations. I collaborate with surgeon to formulate each patient’s plan of care. I order necessary preoperative evaluations and testing and provide appropriate referrals for future evaluation on abnormal results. I conduct postoperative follow up care that includes stitch removal, evacuation of seroma and hematomas, wound evaluation and treatment, infections, pain management, and medical needs. As a nurse practitioner at the venous center, I was responsible for diagnosing patients with vascular insufficiency and pre-operative clearance. I assisted in endovenous laser ablation, miniphlebectomy, and sclerotherapy treatments. During surgery, I prepared tumescent anesthesia and treat patient’s pain during procedures and post-operative. I also have experience in post-operative follow up evaluations in managing pain, stitch removal, assessing vascular lesions, and ultrasound readings. With my CynoSure Elite Laser Certification, I independently provide treatment using high power dual wavelength laser for vascular laser treatment, epidermal pigmentation lesion, hair removal, and wrinkle reduction. I am also CynoSure SculpSure Laser Certified to treat unwanted adipose tissue with non-invasive lipolysis, all treatments provided with positive results. I perform treatments with bi-polar multi-radio frequency for body and facial contouring, cellulite reduction, and skin tightening with my Viora Radio Frequency Certificate.
