Background
About Eadith Mulaudzi
Medical Bioscience Graduate | Health Research Ethics Intern | Cybersecurity Trainee | Public Health Advocate Passionate about Integrating Health, Ethics, and Digital Security for Community Impact I am a dedicated Medical Bioscience graduate currently serving as an intern at the Health Research Ethics Office (HREO), where I support the ethical review process of health research through document management, researcher correspondence, SOP analysis, and regulatory compliance. My work at HREC 1 has strengthened my understanding of research governance, ethical standards, and public health systems. In parallel, I am building expertise in cybersecurity through the CyberGirls Fellowship by CyberSafe Foundation, where I’ve gained hands-on skills in cloud security, data protection, and digital risk management. This unique blend of bioscience and cybersecurity equips me to solve emerging challenges in health tech, particularly at the intersection of data privacy, ethics, and public health innovation. My academic journey includes a BSc in Medical Bioscience and involvement in university leadership initiatives such as: Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) 🧭 Personal Mastery & Empowerment (PME) Student Leadership Incubator Program (SLIP) Through these programs, I’ve refined my leadership, communication, and project management skills, contributing meaningfully to both campus initiatives and national health campaigns. As a Senior Peer Facilitator under the HIV Wellness and Promotion Program, I’ve also led workshops and peer education efforts, advocating for sexual health, mental wellness, and youth empowerment. Driven by a strong belief in gender equality and the potential of women in STEM, I am committed to mentorship, community upliftment, and ethical innovation. Whether working in a lab, reviewing research protocols, or securing digital systems, I strive to bring integrity, excellence, and compassion to everything I do. Let’s connect if you’re passionate about health ethics, cybersecurity, or building inclusive, tech-driven solutions in public health.
