About Eamon Donoghue

As a Director with Teneo's Media Advisory and Strategy team I work with world-leading organisations primarily across the sports, arts, and entertainment industries globally. My extensive background in journalism spans sport, current affairs, business, health and fitness, and travel across various media platforms. I spent nearly 10 years with The Irish Times as a senior journalist and columnist, leading their digital sports team. Producing a weekly analysis column with my own data, I also covered the national leagues as a TV presenter and resident analyst for Eir Sport. I continue to maintain this profile through my work with the national broadcaster, RTÉ. A Dublin City University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism (with Honours), I was a Student media awards nominee 2014. National Press Student Journalist of the year. And in 2018, named among the Sport for Business 30 under 30 leaders of the future. I have proudly represented my county Roscommon in Gaelic football and also played for my local League of Ireland soccer club, Athlone Town.
